Preparation route and use of nickel chloride
Nickel chloride is a chemical substance that is easily soluble in water. It is used in many industries. It can be used as an ammonia absorbent. The solution can also be used for electroplating. It can be said to be a multi-functional product. If you have any understanding, the following editor will briefly introduce its preparation route and use to you.
One, the preparation route
1, metal nickel method
(1) Add metallic nickel to an acid hydrolyzer with an appropriate amount of water or mother liquor, and then pour nitric acid, sulfuric acid, etc. into the container to react to generate nickel sulfate solution.
(2) Pour the solution into the neutralization reactor, then add the soda ash solution for neutralization reaction, and generate nickel carbonate.
(3) After the sodium sulfate is filtered and separated, washed with water, then poured nickel carbonate into the reactor and acidified with hydrochloric acid to generate nickel chloride.
(4) Add hydrogen peroxide and barium carbonate purification solution, remove iron and sulfate by filtration, and then evaporate and concentrate, cool and crystallize, and centrifuge to obtain finished nickel chloride.
(5) The nitrogen oxide gas released during the chemical reaction needs to be absorbed by ammonia water, which can be made into ammonium nitrate by-product.
2, nickel-containing waste method
(1) Pour the nickel-containing waste (crumbs) into the acid hydrolyzer, and let it react with nitric acid to obtain a nickel nitrate solution
(2) Pour in sodium thiosulfate for purification, and remove impurities such as copper, lead, and zinc.
(3) After purification, the remaining solution is reacted with caustic soda solution, and then nickel hydroxide is generated, which is filtered and washed with water.
(4) Pour nickel hydroxide into the reactor and carry out acidification reaction with hydrochloric acid and obtain nickel chloride
(5) Remove impurities such as iron by adding hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen peroxide, etc.
(6) The clarified liquid is sent to evaporation and concentration, crystallized by cooling, and centrifuged to obtain finished nickel chloride.
2, the main purpose
1. Nickel chloride can be used for nickel electroplating, as an anode activator in rapid nickel plating, as an ammonia absorber in industrial or gas masks, and also in the manufacture of dry batteries, catalysts, and invisible inks. Wait for the product.
2. In addition to nickel plating, cobalt nickel phosphorus alloy plating, and tin nickel alloy plating, nickel chloride can also be used in electroforming nickel, electroless nickel plating and immersion nickel plating solutions. Use of additives. During use, special attention should be paid to the content of copper, zinc and nitrate.
3. In the chemical polishing of aluminum alloy, adding nickel chloride can improve the quality of polishing and grinding.
