Introduction of raw materials of cathode copper
⑴Copper concentrate
In nature, the cathode copper stock is very small, and it usually occurs in the state of metal symbiotic ore. Various heavy metals and rare metals are often symbiotic in copper ore, such as gold, silver, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, selenium, lead, tellurium, Cobalt, nickel, molybdenum, etc. According to the characteristics of copper chemical substances, copper minerals can be divided into three types: natural copper, sulfide ores and oxide ores. About 90% of the amount comes from sulfide ore. The copper ore is aggregated through the concentrator to obtain titanium concentrate, which is generally dark brown, dark gray, dark brown, light green, powdery, and the particle size is usually less than 0.074 mm. Copper content 13-30 percent, according to the industry standard YS\/T318-1997 copper concentrate is greater than the requirements, its composition and product categories are shown in Table 1.
(2) Unrefined copper
According to the industry standard GB\/T11086-1989 copper and copper alloy terms are larger than the requirements, unrefined copper includes matte, black copper, precipitated copper and blister copper. Matte is mainly an intermediate product composed of cuprous sulfide and ferrous sulfide. Copper is usually produced by blast furnace smelting waste copper or copper oxide ore with more impurities, and the copper content is usually 60%-85%. Precipitated copper is usually replaced by iron from copper-containing solution, and obtained by precipitation The impure mixture of copper and copper oxide, the copper content is usually about 50%-85% by dry weight. The blister copper is copper with low purity produced by blowing and smelting matte in a converter. The copper content in the blister copper is usually about 98%. Percentage, the unrefined copper required in this standard mainly refers to blister copper. The blister copper is divided into 3 grades according to the industry standard YS\/T70-1993 blister copper is greater than the requirement.
(3) Copper waste and scrap
Cathode copper waste and scrap involves a wide range of areas, including copper, brass, bronze, cupronickel waste and miscellaneous materials. The copper waste and scrap in this standard only refers to purple miscellaneous copper. Scrap, scrap. Such as scrap wire and cable, copper tube, rod, plate, block, tape and the above materials with thin coating and other non-alloy copper scrap, etc.
